hi,
i own a 1999 NSR 125 R recently had to go 2 the shop coz it wudnt start they told me that my fuel had been contaminated and that they had sorted it, suprise suprise today it cut out again, so ive stripped it down cleaned the fuel system thru and have found out that the garage have put the wrong spark plug in, NSR's should have a BR9ECS plug but mine now has a BR9 ECM 1, has ne1 else ever had an nsr that repeatedly wet fouls the plug ( and what was the cause), was my fuel really contaminated or were they talkin shit and what will having the wrong plug in do to my engine? urgent help please

My TZR fouled its plug constantly. When its running, is it really smoky? (ie; smokier than a 2 bang normally is Very Happy). If so your 2 stroke oil pump could be shot. Mine was and it was jammed on full which caused the fouling.

question : with which 2 strokes oil do you feed your bike ?
i can tell you that the BR9ECS is not very good , i much prefer the BR9EIX . but what to say about your garage ? run away from them
give a good clean at air box filter , tank & tap , carb .
