I just wondered what you always carry in topcase/pannier.
For my case, flat tire quick repair bombe, water bottle(for injury or some emergency use), discrock, rainware, and rucksack.
Mine is 32L GIVI.
I haven't fitted pannier yet, how do you separate your luggage left and right? Some bike has many cases(like Harley FLH, gold wing), I wonder how they use each of them.
Once I asked police bike what there is in the rear white box, it was space for radio.

In the top box, I've got: wet weather gear (well, for those few days when I don't actually have to wear it from the start), hi-vi vest (if I'm not wearing it), A-Z of London, London motorcycle parking map (shows all bike bays in London), water bottle, two Waitrose bags-for-life (heavy duty shopping bags which the shop - Waitrose - replaces for nothing once you make the initial purchase at about 10p), spare helmet if I know I'll need it that day.
Under my seat I've got my U-lock, handywipes, hairbrush and handbag. If I carry anything heavy, it goes there, too.
Handbag hook is for emergencies only, i.e., I've got one too many shopping bags.
Glovebox is for torch, the original repair kit, a spanner for my mirrors (the left one keeps moving, and apparently cannot be repaired), copy of the insurance certificate, my recovery (Direct Line) and Puncture assistance documentation.
I put the kitchen sink wherever there's any room left! (Kawashima-san: there's an English saying 'Everything but the kitchen sink', meaning you carry way too much stuff, in fact, you're carrying everything you can think of except the kitchen sink). |
