is it ok to use wd-40 on the bike body, to polish it up?

yer it wont corrode your paint or anything, it is flamable though, and also very slippery-attacts dustvery easily, best to get a propper cleaner, although it can shine a few things up nicely

I use it to clean the swingarm and wheels, it's great at removing oil fling.

I agree with that.
However I find "Mr Sheene" or wax based furniture polish makes a great bodywork polish.... !!! Thumbs Up

Checkout screwfix direwt they do something called SX90 same as wd40 but half the price
