Was down edgware rd earlier today and saw 2 helmets sitting on mini motos in a shop. asked the guy how much they were and he said £850 Niice paint job, but a bit overpriced IMO! probly not evan road legal here in the UK.

Ouch, and no its not my cup of tea really. I'm not all that into OTT graphics on helmets, like patterns more. Predator helmet, pretty unique though. That would suit a streetfighter bike, like a Kwak Z1000 or similar.

custom paintjob on a simpson lid?? It'd probably be cheaper if you bought them helmet yourself and paid someone to paint your own design on it. There's loads of companies advertising lid painting in streetfighters mag. Looks cool though

i wouldnt buy one, i prefer plain black helmets with mirror or tinted visors

Racing drivers have their own designs sprayed onto their crash helmets all the time.

850 quid is actually cheap when you take into account that you're getting the lid for that too.

A custom job can go from 250+ its a **** helmet (cant remember name) and they look cool stock

When bikes are cheap why should helmets be so expensive ?

If i could have got a 2002 tt600 this morning on ebay for £1551, why should two helmets have a combined cost of £1700.

Id definitely prefer to have an extra bike than a fancy helmet.

Those kind of helmets are for people who have more money than they know what to do with, or for mugs who should spend their money on things they actually need.

Says something about how much the shop cares that they leave it in a place where if it gets brushed by someone and it falls off, the helmet will be less safe to use.
Of course, they'll probably make the perpetrator pay, but they'll still sell it anyway.

Looks like a horrible helmet to me, but probably something that will go up in value after 10 years or so, so as a collectable it's quite cool.

Extortionate though!

Nicely done. I wouldn't have one as I don't like them like that, I prefer them plain black. Keep it simple. And it £850, that's taking the mick a little!
