Need some advice on tyres for a thundercat, following a fun/fast ride where they just kept slipping. Bit disconcerting when cornering at 70+ on twisty country roads with drystone walls as runoff areas.

Currently got Dunlop 208's 160 rear 120/60 front. Anyone able to recommend something a bit better.

I'm having problems with dunlops in the wet. I much prefer bridgestone bt014 or bt020.

Bridgestone:
010
020 (not great for pushing it)
014

If you go to any race meets then race scrubs can be had very cheap.

My current tyres:
Pirelli Dragon supercorsa 120/70
Metzler Rennsport 160/60

Personally I don't have a problem with the 208's slipping and have even used them on track, (not recommended though, they got 'interesting' as the day wore on), Bridgestones are popular.

Take a look at the MSN Thundrcat group and you'll find a section devoted to tyre reviews by owners
