Anybody got any ideas on how to get the off line bit of the tire to be less slippy, the normal lines are fine but now I'm round corners lower I'm moving on to un grippy tire and I can tell !
It's like it has a slippy sheen on it

Thought about some sand paper or something but saw a post on a car racing site about some liquid stuff

Easy, go find a roundabout and do lots of laps, leaning a bit more each time, this will get rid of the chicken strips.

Now, go to Dover and get on the chunnel, go over to France, find the nearest roundabout and you can do the left side too Very Happy

Cheers

For rear wheel put your bike on centre stand and engage 2nd gear. Then get your surform tool and gently shape the edge of the tyre.
For safety stand at the back of the bike and hold the surform at the top of the wheel. That way if it snags it'll be thrown forward out of your grasp.

By surform I mean one of these.

BTW this is a joke Wink Very Happy

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
