Honda NSR 125 Rattle noise

hey all just wondering if anyone knows the problem
i kinda think it could be to do with the pistions
there is a little rattling noise coming from the engine.
ticks with the noise of the engine.

i am not very sure but any help would be apprecated

possibly a little end bearing or a gasket leak, more probably a broken ring.
take the exhaust off and shine a torch up the port see what the piston and rings and bore look like, or better still strip it down and have a proper look.

it did get a micron exhaust fittted a while ago
think it has anything to do with that??

im thinking of buying a whole new gasket head piston thingy...lol

it might be a leak from the 'top hat' attachment that the micron mounts to the barrel with. only way to find out is to strip it down and check.......

seal the exhaust to the top hat collar with silicone sealant when you refit it.
