Well i found myself in the middle of nowhere and having to take a friend back to hers which is the other side of the M25.

The thing is, is that she only had a thin jumper on i had a t shirt and my bike jacket on and being the gentleman that i am i insisted that she wears the jacket.

So i am going down the motorway at 11 and it was cold and the wind chill at 100mph in a cold and now wet t shirt was crazy.

So now it is pissing down with rain and weve only just left, 10mins later i see a sign saying 40miles, oh shit i think 40miles in a cold wet t shirt on the M25 then like 5miles through town.

Fuck it i think just grit your teeth and bear it, we eventually get there and i am in cramping pain, get off the bike and i can barely stand, then i try and take my helmet off and i cant lift my arms up, so she takes it off for me then we go in to hers and i cant stop shivering for like 45mins.

When i finally stop shivering i think that was extremely stupid but the whole way i was concentrating so hard because i know that when you are cold your concentration can go.Now i am aching everywhere and i thought i would share my hardcore biker experience with you lot.

You must have lost concentration - If you were thinking straight you would have pulled in to the nearest services/B+B and got a room for the night! Wink Of course fearing for the girls safety! Twisted Evil

I'd have expected nothing less than a nice cuppa, a choccy hob nob and a BJ for such effort.

women have more body fat in the skin so they can withstand cold better even if they moan about it more.

as the rider it was important to stay warm so you didnt lose your concentration. Also, being in front you would get more of the wind blast.

but i can respect these outdated bizarre notions of chivalry that made you want to give her the coat.

I wdnt have tho.

I'm impressed that you carry a spare lid about with you in case you pull though. Thumbs Up

That shows true optimism! Laughing
