Just been told that one of my mates has sold his 1960 Triumph Tiger 100A in immaculate condition for £500. Only the other month I told him that if he ever wanted to sell it I was his man. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad

Well, he is quite obviously mad because some pipe smoking, flat cap wearing gentleman with a moustache would have easily paid up to two grand for a running and tidy pre '65 Tiger so he could put big knobbly tyres on it and ride it through waist deep mud.

£500 for a 1960 Tiger either means he is totally crazy or it was not as tidy as you thought it was. People will pay that for a scabby Bantam with the engine in bits in a box.

The original Triumph Tiger was a road bike - you wouldn't be doin much of-roading on it.

True, until you crash it into a BSA and get the bits mixed up when you are rebuilding them.

I get pissed off all the time. Nieghbor in the UK had a mk2 escort 1.8 and done up like a rally car. He said it was mine for £900 as he needed rid of it. Next day he said he wanted to keep........ weeks later sold it to some shit for £400 so i never really spoke to him after that. Mad
