Looks like a good idea, but would it be a distraction if some 'person' was up your arse with fogs lights on?

Also are you willing to scarifice some frontal view for it?

But at £250, tempting for that added bit of vision...

Thats a fairly reasonable price for a helmet like that tbh, would like to try one on i think! i would imagine build quality suffers in order to keep the price down.

Hi

Tried one at a bike show earlier this year. Tempting in some ways. Not sure how good a helmet they are, and the down side of one helmet having this feature is that you are limited if that make of helmet doesn't fit you.

All the best

Keith

Couldn't cope with anything that impinges on my field of vision even further than a full face lid does. I can't even use one of those face-mask things because I find it distracting.

You don't realise how much your vision is restricted until you ride a bike with an open face/ no helmet on.

The helmet is excellent for Moto-x styled bikes or scooters, but absolutely useless for sports bikes. Basicly, because of the riding position you would assume on a sports bike would mean your head is more angled down than usual. Giving you a nice view of clear blue sky in the rear view. Im not saying this from experience, it was in a review i read a while back on the concept model.
