*ick head cager.
I pulled up at on red at a Pelican crossing this afternoon. I was 1st at the line.
A *ickhead in a cage pulled up alongside me in the RH lane.
We got flashing amber but people were still ON the crossing. I waited to let them cross but *ickhead couldn't fuc*ing wait and pushed on in between the pedestrians.

6 points at least on that one.
Passing a vehicle already on the crossing.
Moving off on flashing amber whilst the crossing is still in use by pedestrians.

I wanted to bat his fuc*ing fat head off.
And spit down the stump because a pri*k like that took one of our members out last night in the same ignorant way.

Bastar*s!
I'm flaming mad now. Mad

Where's the police when you need them???
Calm now. Neutral
Edited sorry Marm Embarassed Laughing

Would of been easier to read if you'd actually typed 'crossing', that was doing my head in just reading that.

Anyway, some car drivers (and bikers) just do what they want, when they want. Not much point getting really pissed off over it mate. Every time I'm up town I get wound up by someone or other, best to just give them a sarcastic thumbs up and be on your way.

Shafting innocent cnuts for doing 41 in a 40 zone.

I passed a 'speed camera' in Carluke the other week with a twat in a van on the phone, steering with his elbows & writting down something on a piece of paper all while driving by a busy petrol station, plus he was swearving all over the place.

Go figure Evil or Very Mad

Still aloud to use your mobiles while driving here. Its scary they serve nearly hit you etc. I have seen some good ones though on the highway.

Guy doing 80 overtaking a lorry reading a paper Shocked

Woman turned around in her seat only one in car looking for something. Granted highways are straight but if she sneezed her ass would of killed her.

Some one lighting a fag while talking on a phone driving.

No hands on wheel driving with knees Rolling Eyes that was me for a dare and it was an empty road and it was in an automatic (lazy people truck)

41>40, not exactly innocent. I kind of agree with what you're saying, but they can't just keep letting people off because they could have done something worse.

Yeah but not exactly crime of the century either, lets be honest.

We all know you actually have more chance of commiting a serious crime and getting away with it (on a one off basis ie, if you commit a single murder, totally randomly, and have no previous you are almost certainly not going to be caught), than you have of getting away with speeding, but what would you rather see?

I for one would rather see the Police cracking down on undertakers/mobile phone users/foreign lorry drivers doing 10 hour stints behind the wheel 'cos they don't adhere to UK practices/ uninsured drivers/drivers who are driving on a ban etc etc etc......

... than a biker or cage driver who is pushing on a bit and breaking a speed limit put in place 40+ years ago. Cars didn't stop or go any where near aswell as they do today, IMO the speed limits are too low on most roads today any way.

Does anyone know how you stand legally for taking down registration numbers and posting them on a twunts section of a website? Can you do it without getting a bollocking or does it contravene some sort archaic law?

Wont argue with that at all Thumbs Up Just don't think one offence is neccesarilly worse.

I'd love to see more traffic police actually pulling people over for bad driving. It'll happen on day. Untill then (and beyond that) we just have to allow for people making 'mistakes', take it easy, and just think "They're normally perfectly good drivers, just having a bad day, could happen to me too".

I'd kinda hope that doesn't happen. People have off days, everyone does. What makes you think you're so much better than they are? I'm sure a police biker would watch you ride and think you're terrible. There's always someone better.

Fair point. It's just that, as you know, some drivers seem to make it a game to try and get as close to a biker as they can without actually climbing on the bike with them or really do drive to the detriment of bikers in general. I don't think that I'm better than them, just as people say, the police never seem to be around when you need them. Could you report someone you consider has been driving dangerously? I suppose it's all open to interpretation

From what I've seen so far while driving a car (on lessons, covered in L's, with an instructor) things are no different, the 'cagers' aren't out to get bikers.

Just the whole bikers hate car drivers thing is getting old and boring now, most bikers drive cars, I bet most even drive cars as their main vehicle.

Wouldn't suprise me at all if most of the people that complain and just want to insult the car drivers, don't have a car license themselves or are just following in the footsteps of others.

I didn't justify speeding did I?

What gets me are all the ''Traffic coppers'' lined up like a bloody firing squad booking people that dont ride/drive around with their face glued to a speedo, more time looking at your speedo for the sake of 38 or 41 mph takes valuable time from looking at the road!!

Now i am not talking about cars parked down both sides of the road or close to school's scenario, i am talking about wide open straight roads with no children or adults for that fact anyware near it, but they still sit behind hedges and walls booking people that are driving with due respect AND driving safely for the road conditions.

Don't get me started man Twisted Evil

Why are the police needed to watch a crossing? The police are doing they're jobs elsewhere.

Never told all the story.

I parked up the bike.
Walked over to the drivers door.
prized the basta*d out of his metal shell, slapped him upside his head and left him shouting for the police.

What I meant.
Where's the police when you need them then? Laughing

I don't blame people for undertaking. If someone has room to undertake you, you should have pulled over to let them past.

If it happened as describd, and the driver 'pushed on in' through the pedestrains then they shouldn't really be on the road, even if they do it on an off day.

What if there was a toddler behind one of the people walking accross that got in the way of the car, they wouldn't have a chance of seeing them.

Don't see a problem with the other bits, if there wasn't a person on a crossing.

And yes, I would like to justify 'safe' speeding.
No I do not think that the police should be doing people for 41 in a 40. However, the current sway towards only focusing on speeding with cameras means that I'm a lot less likely to get done for wheelies, speeding in urban areas or high speed filtering.
(None of which I do of course, definitely not the speeding in urban areas:) ) - now all you need to do is know where the cameras are.
