I'm ever so slightly worried they look almost exactly the same size, and I know the RS50s aren't big bikes. But that 'blade looks tiny!

Gorgeous bikes, both of them.

Far too much money.

Ah nothing like a low quality paintjob for twice the cost of a good one.

Yes I can.

I stopped using Dream machine oh 12 years back when Finlay quit as my area rep. He got a bit pissed at our constant complaints and returns.

Now I use trade paint who you can guess are for trade primarily. Based in Northampton the boss is ex-dream machine, picks up and delivers for free from my house in Central London. Charges me £390 for complete faired bikes such as a Fireblade, as little as £160 for bikes like NTV's or ER-5's and has a week and a half turn around rate. Quality isn't a problem and In 5 years I've only returned 2 pieces. He also does touch up work that dream machine don't do.

And lets mention the interesting price scheme. GSXR600 and 750 late nineties models. Same bodywork but the 750 costs more to spray even when they are the same colour. Why?

Has to be done through trade I'm afraid but most shops use a sprayer that tends to be cheaper than Dream Machine. There are a lot of sprayers around the Northampton area now that are ex-Dream Machine boys. Most shops just add £50 to the price.

So Palmer how much did your spray jobs cost?

Pretty nice Palmer!
I agree with you, the Fireblade is a very chunky bike, i take the piss outta my stepdad all the time because his bike is "fat", i quite like the idea that our bikes are different! I wouldent fault dream machine, seems like they've done a good job, provided it lasts! Have you scratched it yet?

OK Shocked

suppose if you are use to a 50cc bike or something below 200cc they might seem large, but they are for adults. Razz

No they are for old me to attempt to clamber onboard because: -

1) they are the only people who can afford them

2) They want to re-capture their youth by trying to look young on them.

you missed out that they also like going really really fast because theres the possibility they may be able to travel faster than light, back in time and lose 50 years!

i love you old people but i really want your bikes! Mine cost enough and its only a 125!!insurance!!!DONT EVEN ASK!!
