I'll be doing my test on Nov 9th and my mind changes everyday as to what bike to get after i pass. I know in the end it all comes down to personal taste, and going on the assumption that the bikes listed above are all good bikes in their own right, i just thought i'd ask the opinion of my fellow BCFers.
The bike will be mainly used for communting and a bit of fun at the weekends.

I kinda like them all equally in different ways. I like the looks of the KTM, very different looking. Both Fazers look nice but they kinda remind me of the kind of bike someone a little older would have (i'm 30). I'm not sure what it is about the Pegaso i like, but it looks a little to serious for me. Nothing really different about it. Oh the confusion Confused

I'd choose the Fazer, not naked. Looks good.

If you're gonna get a ktm, get a superduke. Have you considered suzuki's sv650? or the new kwak er-6n/f? I agree with col on this one - leave it to the test rides to find the one that reels right.

I'd love to get a SuperDuke, but i'll be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years after my test. I could get one and have the restricter taken out, but i already have 6 points on my licence over an insurance mix up and it's just asking for trouble if i ride around on a full power SuperDuke.

For commuting and a bit of fun, you'll be wanting the Fazer 600. My only complaint with it was that the front of the seat digs into your thighs and gives you a numb bum after a while. Self-destruction is the party trick of most KTMs. The Pegaso is a very nice bike; if it's half as comfy as the F650 you'll be able to ride it all day. Fun at weekends? Yes, depending on how and where you ride. It'll struggle to break the ton.
