What do you think about black lowers on my bike? I've photoshopped a similar bike to make it look how I think it would look.

I'm still very unsure. I'm looking at black cos I can get some that way and then I wouldn't need to spray Smile

Yeah it is but you need to squint to make it seem black Smile

Problem is if I set it to completely black you no longer could see the contours and thus it would look flat.

I'm sure someone better at photoshop could fix it though

True, if you squint it does look black! Also it looks just like an SV650 without lowers if you squint or if it has black lowers.

Why do you want them, to make it more aerodynamic (on the road?!) or for the looks, in which case, why make it a colour that makes it barely noticable than standard without the lowers?

Just my view, make the yellow! Or at least add some yellow decal or pin-stripe to the lowers!

Basically I just want to do something to make it a bit more individual for as cheap as possible and without it looking bland.

I think if I just add more of the same yellow it will look bland. Yet a custom paint job was cost a fortune. Just thinking about some ideas. I'll try doing the blue lowers and see what they look like.

Anyone have any ideas?

Makes it look like it's only got a diddy half-fairing on.... The bottom bit in black just disappears!

If you're gonna do it black, it should be matt black to match the little triangley bit and the bit on the rear fairing.

Could make it a little more noticable with some decals I guess.
