It’s your own choice at the end of the day, I have had quite a few 125’s with full systems with no probs from the filth.
They are usually illegal because they are too loud and they make the bike faster.

It will probably be illegal because it doesn't meet the noise regulations and, if you don't inform your insurance company, they may try to wriggle out of any claim. It's a grey area as they would have to prove that the exhaust was contributory to the accident but I wouldn't want to have to try it.

Cheers

Hi

Illegal for road use on the basis of noise, but also illegal for you to ride the bike then as it would be over the limit of power you are allowed as a learner.

Chances of getting done are limited, but that is your choice.

All the best

Keith

My 40-year old petrol-driven lawn mower makes more noise than that since the exhaust fell off 5 years ago !

I've never heard my neighbours complain (mainly because I can't hear them above the sound of the mower), and I've never had any complaints from the 'filth'.

But then again, I don't ride my mower along our local streets at 50mph Shocked
