The reason people like me post this sort of thing is,
A. Some people are actually interested in what happens elsewhere.
B. Many will not have heard it before or ever likely too if no one tells them.
C. It can have a sobering effect on some to ride more carefully and be more vigilant when riding.
D. If I help one rider stay alive today then it was worth it.
As I mentioned earlier if your not interested in this sort of thread / post, don't read it, leave it for those who are interested.
On a personal note I don't have any interest in bike racing and as such I never read those threads but nor do I complain about anyone who does enjoy posting that sort of thing. ____________________ Pete - Honda FJS 600 ABS Silverwing Maxi Scooter

What sort of person is that may I ask?
| mcbiker wrote: | A. Some people are actually interested in what happens elsewhere. |
Then I'd humbly suggest fleshing out a story in the future, posting a link to the said article, offering your own opinion of the event, that sort of thing.
| mcbiker wrote: | B. Many will not have heard it before or ever likely too if no one tells them.. |
Sorry the point of that is lost on me? Infact I don't think I understand it.
| mcbiker wrote: | C. It can have a sobering effect on some to ride more carefully and be more vigilant when riding... |
Do you think so, really? Bless Reading the vague article you posted it seems ther girl couldn't have done very little to have saved herself, it was a hit and run.

If your motive is sincere most comendable, but you need to work a little harder at it I have to point out though, your response to critisism has been much fuller, if a little verbose than your original copied and pasted article

Come on, not that old internet forum acorn

So from that I'm supposed to summise you 'enjoy' posting about death and should be left alone to do it? Of course you don't so your point is invalid.
This is what I'd suggest you do the next time you post something like this. Find a story thats interesting and has an angle that will really get our empathy juices flowing, something that makes us 'feel' and imagine the last moments of that persons death, maybe make us cry. Put a little of yourself in ther story so people aren't confused by your motives and go when they've read it.
