Is a 1989 Kawasaki KLR 250 thats in good condition but with 40000km of mileage for 1800$ Canadian a good deal or is 40000km to much?

I have no idea about dirtbike mileage

My 1989 KLR600 is coming up to 31,000 miles (which if my shoddy maths is right should be around 49,000kms?) and it's fine. I know it's a bigger capacity and all that but if you keep on top of routine maintenace to keep it running right it should last forever.
