hi everyone, this possibly might be in the wrong section but i wasnt sure.
I work for an IT company who are talking about creating a bike website (i know there are loads of them )
being the only biker in the company I have been asked to come up with a few ideas on what kind of thing we would put on there and do with it ? which is where you lovely people come in.
Is there anything that any of you would like to see in/on a bike website that you can't get at the moment.
I know we have the BCF which is a great place to chat about all things bike but there must be things that you would like to see on a site.
I would really appreciate any input anyone would like to give ???
thanks ____________________ **************Honda CBR 600 FR***********

well this is the thing, we dont know yet, we are just trying to see where there may be a gap in the market, I know they are looking at cheap e-mail addresses say £5 to £10 pa for one say [email protected]
but it needs to be more than just an e-mail service ? ____________________ **************Honda CBR 600 FR***********

If I had these big ideas, I'd be not telling you and doing it myself.
Infact, I do, I have and I'll probably never get around to doing it .
Seriously, though, making a site for the sake of it is usually a really bad idea, better to find something that you might want and make a site to cover that - if you have to ask other people it's probably not a good start .
No offence, but that's an awful lot for an email service on it's own. Loads of places have masses of domains that you can pick free email address from. |

I would say look at as many websites as you can stand, make a note of what each one has and compare them, then think about what you would like as well. Mine started off with just a home page and has more or less constructed itself in terms of content. People have asked where they can find this and that and if the page didn't already exist for it then I just set one up. I don't think the email address will be worthwhile as most people can get just about what they want for free and you would have to invest a lot of money to offer totally customised email addresses. ____________________ 1st bike - Honda Rebel; 2nd bike - CBR125; next bike - husband's 'blade hehehehe

Totally agree with G. Hell if anyone's got any good ones just send them to me and I'll pay for them. ____________________ Photos and that |
