Hey all, i have recently purchased a zxr 750, when i bought it i thought the can was road legal now im not sure, it doesnt have the legal markings but it does not say not for road use or anything like that, the can is a micron slip on and has e1 at the top of the can. Will this pass an mot or not?

Does it have to have them markings on it?

cheers guys Thumbs Up

Doesn't need any markings nowadays as long as the tester is happy with the noise it will pass......unless it's got the old "not for road use" on it then it would fail.

Ok mate cheers, it isnt too loud so i hope it passes the mot.

Do you know if tinted green mirrors will be ok for an mot because my bike has them on?
I hate them but got no money to buy some new ones at the moment.

Hi

Think the E mark means it is road legal, not that it should matter for an MOT now as long as it is quiet.

All the best
