I have bought some alloy wheels for my car. They are standard Honda ones, but the paint is starting to bubble from underneath. If I get them sandblasted what sort of preperation do I need to do before I paint them? And is it advisable to paint them myself anyway? I presume they are going to need laquering.

Unless you are really giffted at painting then i say leave it to the pro's! My bros best mate works for a place that does all types of Modifications to things! One of them is refurbing and powdercoating of things ( mainly Boy Racers alloy wheels they get ) It is much cheaper to just get it done by them!
My brother got his done Gold for £45 a wheel ( thats refurbed and painted )
General colours like black and silver are cheaper!
I suggest that
Up to you wither your up for a task. but to get it all preped yourself its aint gonna be to cheap!
Good luck
