mistake on v5 form

well i got my v5 (log book type thing Smile ) back but my surname is spelt wrong

i beleive i have filled out the right section (6) but where do i send it to?

the section is titled 'New keeper or new name/new address details' and instructions for this section go only on about new keepers.

So does this mean i send it to that postcode still? ( SA99 1BA )

Yes send it there, as I suppose they are responsible for changes of all details.

Have a butchers over the entire V5 and look on the back, there should be some instructions as well as an address. I don't know if they're all the same but I believe they all go to Swansea. That's all I've ever seen anyway.

I don't think it's a question of where, but which postcode to use. The DVLA have different postcodes depending on the department you need. You shouldn't need a covering letter, just the amended details on the V5. Send it to SA99 1BA as you said.
