Have those that own Sidi Vertigo boots (which is prob just about all of us!) suffered the same problem that me and Dodsi have? Those little bits of plastic on the side vents keep falling off Evil or Very Mad . Anyone else have this problem or know of an online shop that sells them??

I've not had any trouble with mine. But saying that, I've only had them for three months. How long before this started happening with you?

You had the vent slider mussing that I had on my boot and you had the one I was missing.

I gave you my vent slider so now you have 2, I should be the one winging as I have none!

I also have corsa's, not yet had the problem with the vent slide - I don't even use them TBH. I have, however, had a problem with the pin coming loose on the circular clippy thing that fastens the strappy do-dah over the toes, most annoying!

Over 6000 miles in mine (black and white are the best Very Happy) including a crash and I still have the vents in place.

If it keeps happening, I'm sure they have a manufacturers guarantee for the life of the boot.

My vents are still in place, even after scraping one.

I had that thing with the screw just turning round and round on the heel 'shock absorber' of one of my boots. Had to lever the absorber off, grip the nut bit with a small pair of pliers to unscrew (2 person job), then put a small blob of superglue on the nuts to stop them turning.

Has anyone had any problems with rain getting in.

I'm tempted to buy some Vertigo's as my boots leak, but the zip looks pretty exposed?

With regards to waterproof-ness, my experience is a little random. I've had them keep water out in heavy rain, then sometimes I've had them let in trickles of water through the zip.

Think it depends on the foot position and whether you're wearing waterproof trousers over them.

Not had any problem with mine. When I was at the NEC show this year, some dude called me over trying to sell me some cleaning stuff for my boots. He said that it'll make them waterproof. I said that they already were, then walked off Wink A bit later that day, I ended up walking past again, and he was offering to put some on boots for free. So I let him put some on - can't argue with free stuff Thumbs Up
