Not to impressed with Carole Nash
I wanted to do a big ride next week and would much rather go on the VFR750 than the old FZR.
They are unable to insure me for a day or two on the VFR in addition the the Fizzer as it's a 'one bike policy'
The only thing I can do is change the bike on the policy for the remainder of the term or take out a completely new 12 month policy then cancel in after a days riding (yeah right!)
Unless they can do me a decent multiple bike policy at renawl i'll (with heavy heart) be going elsewere.
On the positive side though - The phone was answered after 2 rings, by a PERSON, who could advise my without passing me across 15 different departments!
There service is excellent but i'm just very dissapointed they can't accomadate my insurance needs. |

FWIW when I got my newer bike I gave them a call to transfer the insurance from the old one. I thought the old one would remain uninsured but the girl on the 'phone told me they could insure both bikes.
Turned out I'd cancel my policy on the old bike (and get a bit of a refund) and then have a new policy with the newer one and then add the old bike to it. From the quote for the newer bike it only cost £15 to add the old bike. Well, I think that's what happened anyhow. Thought the total price was ok so went for it. End result was I got insurance certificates for both bikes.
From what you wrote I'm surprised they didn't offer you something similar. Maybe worth another 'phone call.

E-bike does a pay as you go service and you can insure more than one bike I think. I ended up going with e-bike after Bennets messed me around and got a quote from e-bike half the price Bennets were charging .E-bike only do insure on-line btw. ____________________ Ride with the music! |
