Arai rx7 corsair troubles

Hi There has anybody had a chin vent replaced, if so did you fit it yourself.

Reason I ask, mine is open all the time.... I close it move the lid and the bloody vent drops open.Today I visited Johns of romford and ordered a replacement vent, but I had to tell the sales person the model of the lid !!!!!!

If they don't know want a rx7 corsair looks like then how the heck will they also be able to fit the part.

How long you had it? Would have thought the shop you bought it from or the Arai rep would have replaced it for you.

Would have been better off at one of the 5 star Arai dealers, they would have looked at it would have sorted it, probably for free, they're pretty good on the aftercare side are Arai. I've got the same helmet, doesn't look obvious how it fits, seeing the new one should give you a better clue how it goes in.

I can see how the actual flap fits but not how the whole mouth piece would go in.

As said, you could probably get it fixed for free by Arai if you can get to one of their reps. I had mine fixed for free once.
