its not seized its still turns over on the button,its sparking tested with a human spark plug.new oil and plug fitted not long ago,it started to make a rattleing a few day ago AND then yesterday while rideing it started to die then back fired about 5 times then cut out and it wont start ?.i was thinking the tapit springs or the valves ? need some help please some one cheers

hello mate i no it sounds silly but my runner done somthing simular about a week ago check the reed blocks mate

4 strokes don't have reed blocks.

It does sound like the valves, but i'm not sure how it could just suddenly cause the bike to cut out. If your valve clearances are out, the bike will generally misfire, but it shouldn't be that frequent. Maybe you have something in your exhaust pipe?

on my ped the catalysator got loose. take off the exhaust and shake it. but my ped is still working fine, i shall take out the catalysator soon.

try anew plug in as u need to rule that out, do a compression test on it. only 2 strokes have reed valves or a rotary valve.
av changed a few of the spark plug caps on these as its been shorting out internally. av u got petrol at carb your plug should be wet if its not firing
