Right as you may or may not know i came off my bike almost three weeks ago and this weekend is the first time im allowed back on it due to my arm being in a sling.

I bought a titanium dual port flue flame exhaust at the N.E.C and i have put it on and i go to start it and nothing wtf?

Its trying to start and its making this hissing sound as a litle bit of air comes out of the exhaust , it has been sitting there for two weeks now so what do you think i should do?

Plugs ?

Whatever you do be careful not to run the battery down.

I've had this a couple of times, esp since i've fitted a race can. It did start eventually but it was difficult.

That sounds a bit serious. Where exactly is the hissing coming from? Can you hear it if you try to start it with the downpipes off?

The hissing could be from a broken engine seal - maybe gasket?

What make/model/tuning and modifications, if any? (My other half is a dab hand at diagnosis, may be able to offer more specific suggestions based on this info)

well today i got my brothers bike started by pushing it, after cleaning the spark plugs which had a little oil on them, we let it idle for a few minuets with the choke, but the i went to ride in up and down and there was no throtte response at all almost a 1 second delay if you know what i mean.

it then cut out and wouldn't start up again, every time we pushed it it would backfire a little and nothing!!

any sugesstions would be welcome, and could it be old fuel. its about 3 weeks old now?

want to get it sorted as im gonna get a ride on it when its fixed out with its blue flame Twisted Evil my little reward.

Any help Confused

You'd be better off making your own thread in the workshop section, you'll get a better response in there.
