Hi guys, I have searched before but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for.

Do most of you put the bike in nutral when doing stoppies or do you just hold the clutch in?

For those that do standing wheelies from roll on. Do you prefer doing them in first or second? I think it's hard doing a gear change when standing if your left leg is on the left lever and not the pillion's.

Cheers.

I think it would be even harder to change gear if you had your left leg on the pillion peg?

Confused Wink

LOL

The gears are still on the left you numpty.

As for stoppies, pull the clutch in when coming to a stop.. no need to do it whilst rolling really other than force of habit..

My bad, i thought the gears were on the right in other countries which is why some have a right-footed change over here. I thought they must be imports, but they're probably just right old bikes... Embarassed

By the way, it's not really right or wrong to hold clutch in or not when stoppying.. all you gotta do is have the clutch in when you come to a stop, even if you're still going at some speed when you put it down...

You don't need the clutch in when stoppying, you don't not need it in either.. so it's really whatever you want to do.. just remember to grab it before the wheel goes down Wink

And stand ups, just do whatevers best for your bike and skill level, there is no right or wrong in "what gear" just do whatevers best. 1st can be a bit choppy though, I'd reccomend 2nd Wink
