Been looking around my local bike shop, and saw one of these things, along with other random bits... They are those half tube shaped cone things that go on the front of your can that should protect it if you go down the road on it...

Well i was just wondering if anyone here has got one fitted? Wether they are easy / hard to fit (guessing they are a peice of piss), wether they get hot due to the pipe and if they can melt? / cause damage because i do lots of long rides frequently... cheers!

Thumbs Up

G has/had one on one of his race bikes. It had been worn throgh, and the can had worn through behind it.
Being G that may have been the work of a few crashes though.

If you like the look of it they've gota be worth it, should keep your can away from the majority of damage in a minor accident.

They're not hard to fit and if it's carbon, it's not going to melt.
