not sure how to put this without sounding a twat so here goes
think the thundercat was slightly out by froggys reconing
but I know nothing about the xjr appart from you have only just got it,,
to me that would say theres something wrong with the bikes you keep buying for you to be wanting to get rid of them so soon.
but then thats my oppinion because i know your not a bike dealer

for my next hint is the next time you buy a bike get someone with a hell of a lot of experience in bikes to take a look at it before you part with the cash.

also if there is something wrong with the bike tell people in the advert,
if you dont say whats wrong the person who buys it could have anm accident as a direct result of the fault, in effect putting you to blame, if the said person dies it coulf put you in the manslaughter chair, if its just a bad accident it would be fraudulent advertising or something, casuing you lots of grief and a loss of lots of friends,,

i just want something with a fairing for the motorways because i have 10 miles to go to work

and i said for sale soon ie next year when my insurance runs out, having a dad whos a mechanic does help when buying bikes aswell.

a fairing wont make a slightest bit of difference with a short journey, trust me on this one.
decent winer clothes will, heated grips are great, also windstopper undies.
I never said there was a fault with the fjr, imo id keep it and use that as a hack, cos lets face it, you only have a year to go ish before you can get a big bike as in BIG.
if your after a bike with a fairing decent enough to bloack out wind and stuff theres not many options, your lookin at the hoda deuvelle, pan or winger or nay classic bike with a rickman fairing, there about the size of a house and love cross winds.
