This morning started the bike and wisps of smoke came out of the base of the exhaust? thinking that there was a rust hole i checked to see water droplets come out also.
Does the cg have a hole at the base to allow venting etc of water? was a frosty morning. The hole is an actual hole not rust etc is there a bit missing. or is this on all cg exhausts? the pic i stuck a screw in to show the hole wich is a perfect circle not rust , located just at the begining of the pipe before it begins to curve.

Some car exhausts have small holes put into them aswell, im geussing its to stop the moisture/water from sitting there and corroding the exhaust. They do drip when they are warming up.
Maybe thats what that hole is for. ____________________ Cbr1100xx blackbird gone, mk4 golf gt tdi chav now

You can see there are two holes on that exhaust. The drain hole is the circular one in the centre of the exhaust, just rearwards of the weld between the trumpet and the downpipe. The one you have stuck that screw into shouldn't be there as far as I know.
A drain hole is a very common feature on exhausts. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
