I gave up last week trying to beat the cold so I ordered some oxford deluxe muffs for 23.99 inc P+P. They came today so I fitted them.
Took some time to break them into shape as they are made of very tough material. At first they seemed too close to the levers but after some fiddling they were fine. If you get the holes for the mirrors right it keeps the muffs away from the controls (indicators etc).
The right hand side muff was still abit close and I don't fancy the wind knocking the muffs into my brake lever, so I came up with the idea of making a little hole in the side and pushing the bar end through it to secure it in place. Now when I knock the the muffs the handle bars move rather than the muffs pushing the brake lever Thumbs Up
