Well as my ZXR 250 cant now be used as is i was wondering.

Id now prefer to buy a newer bike when i can afford it, probably around March.

BUT, what do i do with this. I could keep it, and maybe repair it next year, but this could cost lots of money i dont have Confused

I could sell it as a non-runner, how much would i get in the current market? Dont fancy ebay. Or i can sell it as parts (not sure which ones mind..) which id be happy to use ebay for.

I wouldnt mind keeping it too much, not much space for it mind. Would like to strip it and learn as much as i could from it and use it as a project bike Thinking

It needs a new engine for a start, how do i know which ones would fit in to the frame? what else do i need to think about with fitting a new engine? Would it be worth bodging a bigger one in it or trying to find another zxr 250 engine for it? Shocked

It also needs every panel replaced at least, its a small bike and would probably have to either shell out for replacement zxr 250 ones or do i bodge some different ones on? frame, forks etc seem fine at least Rolling Eyes

Well, any thoughts?

Is it really worth bothering with? sounds like you should just get the new bike, and keep this to tinker with when and if the parts come along.

Breaking is another option, not sure if these bikes are widley used but id imagine a breakers yard would give you pennys.

sorry i have no realy help on the matter.

Steve.
