Just had my renewal from the RAC, I had a 10percent discount because I haven't needed their services for a year!!

In all the years I've had breakdown service I've never had a discount before so I'm happy.

I also have breakdown service with Carole Nash which is free but I still have my RAC membership because I trust them.
My insurance is very low this year so I've saved quite a few quid. Laughing

Because you didn't call them, or because you are still waiting for them to turn up having called them 6 months ago?

All the best

Just a bit bitter that I had a 4 hour wait for them because they "forgot" that I had called them, despite speaking to them every hour.

All the best

I've called out the RAC 3 times this year and each time they have arrived promptly and have been very helpful and friendly.

I won't be getting a 10% discount though... one of these days I may call them out to fix one of my vehicles!

I once waited for about 4 hours for the RAC myself, they screwed up big time but they did give me a few months free cover as an apology for the screw up. I've been with the RAC for years, I joined them because of issues I had with the attitude of a newbie operator with the AA.
