alarm troubles please help

i have just fitted an alarm/imobiliser to my scooter ( malaguti firefox ) there are 2 problems tho one it dosent cut out i was thinking maybe i set the engine kill wrong ( black and white wire ) also the electric start from remote control dosent work unless you have key in ignition turned on is there anyway around this cheers.

Not trying to be sarky but why would you wanna start the bike with the fob?

It doesnt seem to serve any purpose? On a car I can understand, to warm the inside up etc....

its jsut a feature i dont know why they have it jsut i dont want sumthing on my bike that is not working fully knowin my luck itll stop my bike workin ...... again but its amusin walkin up to ya bike and it starts up for ya.

I think its one of the best features you can get

Start your bike from the inside get all kitted up walk out leg over and off you go.
