Its a 96 Bandit 600 with 12,000 on the clock

Iv noticed that if you ride the bike past the 6/7000 RPM mark theres a rattle coming from the engine, as soon as you change up a gear and drop the RPM OR slow down, it stops.

Any Ideas what it could be? As its a little concerning and its preventing me from giving it full beans!

Thanks
Jose

Probably the cam chain tensioner sticking/worn, not a hard job to remove/check/replace but you really need to know the correct sequence. Get a Haynes if you haven't got one and just follow it.
