Hey Guys..

This has only just started to happened.. I’m riding along and suddenly my bike will jump and go from 60mph to 10mph to 25mph to 5mph etc etc..

When its playing up and I start the bike, as soon as I turn the accelerator it dies.

I first of all thought it could be water in the tank due to some fun I had with a jerry can. I then drained the tank but this had no effect when I re-filled it still had the same problem, I then thought well.. it must be a fuel shortage.

The carburettor has been stripped and cleaned 3 times with no change, the vacuum valve on the bottom of the fuel tank seems to work fine, and I don’t know what else to try, any suggestions?

I must also add sometimes it will work fine and will last a long period of time, it seems to be worse in cold weather and doesn’t improve when the engine warms up.

Its Like it has a fuel mixture problem or fuel starvation problem.

Any help would be great!

Ta
Ash
