Nope, this one is about having fun whilst filtering I actually feel shocked i can say that as a former hater of filtering. Today i had to filter for about a mile in the cold and snow on a dual carriageway with a heavy bag on my back. And I loved it! I was constantly thinking "should i stop?" but all i did was bide my time till i could find the next impossibly small gap through which i could pin the throttle* I had fun, even with the shitty weather:up:

*Before safety nazis flame me all over the place, i'm on a 50cc scooter, and nailed it so i didnt get run over. The rest of the time i filtered sensibly so ha! ____________________ www.bikepics.com/members/jackcheese <--- NOW FOR SALE! 51 Plate Cagiva Planet 125

Love filtering ........ but drivers seem more scared of male riders than woman riders. I had a close call recently when some nutter decided he'd rather walk and suddenly opened the passenger side door of a stationary vehicle and half jumped out into the road directly in front of me. I slammed on anchors (nearly took the door off!) and then asked him if he had a death wish or what ? His eyes nearly popped out of his head he got such a fright! |

I had exactly the same thing when filtering, some kid whose dad was dropping him to school, obviously thought it would be quicker to walk than to sit in traffic and opened his door into the gap as I was filtering. If I'd have been on the DR350 I had at the time, I;d have hit him. Fortunately it was a rare winter commute on the Blade and I stoppied to a halt with the front wheel touching the door liner.
That kid learnt a few new words that day as I told his Dad not to let the kid open the door without using his wing mirrors first.
Love filtering too though, it's one of the biggest bonuses of owning a bike. Take it steady nowadays though, too many near misses with car drivers trying to save 2 seconds on their daily commute by changing lanes.
Cheers

I saw a pan european filtering the other day.
...
Had a grin on my face for the rest of the day, the amount of car drivers that saw it and must have thought "er, he's going pretty fast, I'm getting out the way " ____________________ Current Bike: nc30 |

I have red and yellow contact lenses, i usually stare at drivers with my mirror visor open a bit, so all they can see is steam coming out from my breath, then when i pop the visor, all they see is my black balaclava and helmet liner, then two scary as F*ck eyes staring straight at em! Can't wait to get a caberg, though!

I'd reccomend a caberg, I love mine, but might have to get rid of it soon because of the insurance claim (damaged in the accident, claiming for a new lid) - can't get my model in the UK, so they want to replace it with a KBC race rep of the same value.
The red and yellow contacts would be a little un-nerving  ____________________ ::'04 Yamaha Jog:: || ::'01 Honda NSR:: || ::'00 Suzuki Swift:: || ::'89 Swift GTi:: || ::'96 Swift Poverty Spec:: || ::'92 Swift GTi:: |

I used to love the BROS 650 for filtering it's grunty and very very thin and can turn on a penny. I thought I'd hate the Vmax for filtering but no fu(kin way its better ... folk get out of the way ...and oddly I can still get through some impossible gaps (ay Proxi?....ride pillion and tell me you trust me!!) ...
But does anyone find it tuff as hell when they get in a car and are stuck in traffic... It's sooo tuff when I'm in the jeep... I keep seeing these gaps and just about push ahead...but can't have to remember theres an extra bit on the left!!! ____________________ **** Don't ride faster than your angel can fly Get this Free Space
