I am planning on getting some armoured trousers as I destroyed my last pair when I last came off the bike.
I currently have the RST Electric jacket. I was going to go for the leather jeans to match and get a waterproof over suit.
Bearing in mind the weather is going to be crap for the next few months, should I just get textile trousers (with armour) to save scuffing up a new pair of leathers?
Any suggestions? ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |

This time of year I'd go for textile with the extra linings that can be zipped out.
As for flexible armour I'm a fan of the Hein Gericke stuff. If you buy trousers or jacket from them and their flexible stuff isn't fitted then they give you a discount if yu buy it at the same time (well they did me anyhow ).
Suggest trying Hein Gericke anyhow as I'm told they do have women's sizes/cuts for their clothes.

Well, went to my local place last night.
Got a pair ofr RST Jeans that are a combination of leather and textile. Not bad for £100. Tried on quite a bit, but these fitted the best. The 100% textile stuff I found to be too loose on my skinny legs so the armour was (as you said) in my boots.
I also got a waterproof suit to keep the majority of the wet stuff off of me.
Looking forward to putting the bike back on the road now. ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |
