Hi all,

Been thinking of christmas presents for people (sorry for mentioning it).

Now the girlfriends Dad rides and has expressed an interest in doing an off road day. So i thought i could sign him up for one as a christmas present. obviously I would have to go along to keep him company and make sure he didn't bust anything.

The question however is has anyone done one and is it worth it? From what i have heard it is just under a ton for a day.

i did about 10mins at the nec and really enjoyed it. I guess a full day wd be even better.

I have posted before about this. I did a day with www.yamaha-schools.co.uk
Quite expensive at £150 but you get everything you need. I had a fantastic day with some mates a superb day out. Everyone gets some air. Thumbs Up

the Yamaha Off-Road Experience run by Geraint Jones is a brilliant day out. Took my two sons who had only done CBT - riding 250s after 30 mins on small bikes.

The school has the use of parts of the Hafren forest plus a large open area to practice getting the tail end out and grabbing a bit of air.

No pressure - develop at your own pace
