well winter is hitting the thundercat hard, got no time to keep up to the cleaning so i'm down to basic maintainance (chain etc)

keep getting the same problem every morning tho and i cant seem to get it to stop

every moring when i come to push the bike out of the garage i cant move it, the brake pads have stuck fast to the discs. when it does free it leaves a horrid rust mark on my new spanky wave discs.

i've just recently overhauled the front calipers putting new seals and pistons in so i know its not the discs pushing up against the disc when its left alone,

anyone else suffer from this problem?

and what could i do about it?

cheers

Weird it happens every morning usually takes a day or two to affect it like that, are the waveys cast iron??.
If not and you're sure they're not binding in the first place it must be a reaction between the discs and the pad material. Take it they are sintered and whatever bits they have in them doesn't agree with the disc material. Best idea would be to change to plain pads for over winter until the salt and shit has gone,or put your old discs back on and keep the waveys for the better weather.
Only other way round it would be to slip something like a piece of plastic/polythene type material between the pads and discs to stop the reaction when you park up each night, not very practical really as you're going to forget to take it out before you set off at some point.

Sounds like your wavey discs have high iron content. I had a set of PFM supersports cast iron discs and these always did this. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it's seriously sticking to the point where a good rock forwards doesn't free them off. If that is the case, try a different set of brake pads (but not EBC), I'd recommend Bendix.
