hi.

i have recently fitted an exhaust to my bike which is a 50cc, and i have noticed that its constantly kicking out smoke and the carb needs re-jetting to cope with the exhaust, my mate had his done my a shop for 60 quid and i dont fancy paying that, so can anyone give me some help with what to do, as i have never delved inside a carb before.
how will i know what size main jet to replace my old jet with, my mate has had a 95 put in his and his is fine, just wondering if i should put the same size jet in or is there a way of telling what size in needed to balance the fuel mixture.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Cheers Thumbs Up

Brad.

i find jetting is best left to the proffesionals for a very good reason,

its not worth ruining a piston and barrel costin £££ when you can pay 60 quid and get it right,

also if they mess it up they should put it right for you
