front indicator locations

What's the rules in regard to mounting front indicators? Do they have to be mounted past the front forks or could you mount them on the radiator out of the way?

I'm thinking maybe something like this but black on the edge of the radiator so it isn't noticeable:

if not it's going to have to be this style mounted on each side of the headlight:

Any suggestions as to what would suit it i'm not liking anything i've seen really.

as long as you can see them, i dont think any cop or anyone would say anything.....

Have a search on ebay for replacement mirrors with integrated indicators.

I don't think it matters where they are as long as one set points forward and one points back, though they do have to be over a certain height(i think).

Higher than a certain level, and a greater than a certain distance apart. All I can see with the MOT wrt positioning is that they must be on either side of the longitudinal axis.

The Speed Triple has indicators mounted on its radiator.
