When I had my moped, my mate gave me some barends as a present, the bars were hollow like yours, but you put an allen key in, turned it, and it widened a rubber "tube" behind the actual visible bit of the bar end. So it gripped the inside of the tube. Think they were motrax, solid metal ones anodized gold - very bling bling ____________________ ::'04 Yamaha Jog:: || ::'01 Honda NSR:: || ::'00 Suzuki Swift:: || ::'89 Swift GTi:: || ::'96 Swift Poverty Spec:: || ::'92 Swift GTi:: |

Im gona change em soon hopefully. i used a trialwing on the front, that wasn't too bad. i had Pirelli mt60's on my aprilia off roader and they were good (see link) better than the trialwing i had on the DT but more expensive.

Your best off with road tyres so that you have more rubber down on the road, knobbilies are made to dig into the surface, they wont get too far on tarmac . I intend on using the knobbilies on the RX until they wear out (which wont be long due to the compound they are made of). Then i'll fit road tyres. Just remember dont do any crazy cornering, because you are loosing about a quarter, if not more, of your grip! ____________________ Will work for petrol
