From a recent chat and a Pm, Nathan (THCI) has lost all three bikes due to a huge fire..
Heres a cutting from his PM

Quote:
I was just getting up to go and sit at my computer. When I heard a crash in the garage, sounded like a tool box falling over or possible a bike. Anyway, opened the door into the garage (our garrage is built up against the side of the house, with access into the house only through the garage) and was assaulted by a lot of black smoke and fire.

Well, in the short space of time it took to get everyone out and in the back garden it turned into a raging inferno. Thats all you can describe it as!

All three bikes are complete write off's, along with most of the house, only the garage and the hall were actually damaged by the flame part of the fire, but the rest of the house was damaged by th smoke that was spewing from said flames being fueled by all the petrol in 3 bikes and the usual assortment of chemicals that is stored in a garage.

Both him and his family are all okay, shook up but okay..

Hope you get it sorted soon mate, and glad your all okay. Thumbs Up

Steve.

That's really rough luck, hopefully it'll be a quick insurance payout.

Hi Steveh. thanks for posting that for me. I have internet, kinda, in the hotel, but I'm not able to check and post all the time. Or, ride my bike, or sleep in my own bed.

And, those are the two things that really piss me off, not being able to sleep in my own bed nor ride my new bike. Sad

It isnt just a case of a simple insurance payment, its the fact that its XMas and the new year hiatus, thats holding getting the house sorted out. We should be in temporary rented accomodation within 2/3 weeks.

All this has happened when I was just about to return to work! Now, Ill be off a little bit longer until Im actually able to get to work. Nevermind, more weeks of boredom won't hurt me.

Anyway, I hope that you all had a better christmas than I had, and a better new year than I wil have also!
