As pictured.

What would have caused that? Cheap make? A crash? Confused

Wouldn't fail an MOT would it?

Looks like a classic 'Oh shit I left my disk lock on didn't I' type of dent to me.

Has it always been there since you had the bike?

I doubt an MOTer would get upset about it aslong as it isn't cracked. Probably wouldn't notice.

Personally I'd change it. It's taken quite a knock and there looks like some creases or cracks starting on the inner radius - you don't want it possibly shattering and flying apart when you bang the anchors on one day.

If I was the MOT'er and I spotted it I'd fail it, sorry.

I'm affraid i agree, there are possibly hairline fractures and after geting as hot as brakes can.. well wouldn't like to be on the bike at the time..

Not only that it could be unbalanceing the wheel too, at high speeds it could be noticeable and maybe quite bad?

If in doubt...

I did think that too, will source a replacement. Surprised though, there are no dig marks that you would expect from a brake disc on the fork legs. Confused

Thumbs Up

There is on the brake caliper though, and thats the way the wheel goes when traveling forwards. Wink
