oil drain plug please help

i have a kmx 125 and today i went to give it an oil change for the first time since i bought it and i started to unscrew the oil drain plug and it goes a bit loose but does not come off even after about half an hour of trying to unscrew it i think it might be stript does anyone have any ideas on how i can get it out will be much appreciated

If it's rotating, grab the plug with pliers or mole grips and pull on it whilst unscrewing it. It should come out.

Good luck getting it back in, though, sounds like the threads have stripped.

I've not seen one for a long time, but It's possible there's a magnet in a cage attached to the back of the plug which is there to catch bits of errant metal. Sometimes this cage distorts for some reason and won't come through the hole even though the plug itself has freed itself from it's threads. In which case pulling very hard is the only solution.
