please help need help

i have just bourght a mbk ovetto and it passed the m.o.t i took the bike out for a spin when i noticed that the indicators dont work
the problem is that one minite they do and one minite they dont
also i am not sure but are the indicators supposed to flash or stay at a constant light?
could someone please tell me what could be wrongand how i could resolve this problem without taking the bike to a garage please

They should flash about once a second - on,off,on,off that sort of thing. Look at a car and you'll get the idea.

I haven't got a clue what a mbk ovetto is, maybe they only work when the engine's running?

Try a new indicator relay

if its all the indicators check connections to the relay, could be a bad earth or as said, faulty relay
