my xr 600 rebuilt it and the rev's hang up cables r free and i cleaned the carbs out when i rebuilt it . it was doing it before the rebuild i thought shity carbs although i didnt have the slides out as there seperate from the cables u xr boys will know ! i was thinking maybe the inlet rubber needs resealing as it had sat around for a couple of years proir to me buying it Wink

ive tried to reseal the inlet took it off cleaned the rubber o rings off cleaned them and i smeared some instant gasket over them to help them seal and its still the same hangs up and gradually comes down driving me mad i just wanna get it moted and go riding Twisted Evil but i cant Rolling Eyes

Sounds like the pilots need setting up on an electric gas analyser.

had carbs apart again to find the needles were adjusted uneven 1 was 4th from the bottom and the other was was 2 . so i set them both at 3 and gave everything a real good clean and put it all back together just gotta wait til tomorrow to start it up to late now my dad will go bonkers Laughing
