I think its a stunning bike and I would only make a couple of cosmetic changes (to taste)

1. Sort out the license plate hanger, less scaffolding please.

2. Single seat cowl and no pillion pegs.

3. Fatter and shorter carbon underbody zorst.

When I finally saw one in my local dealer I was impressed. It's small and the swinging arm looks beefy, and with a slipper clutch and electronic throttle control as standard it's a move forward in road bike technology.

yes, but no, but yes, but no.
Cant make my mind up. Saw a red one & a blue one in Earnshaws today.
I love the front, but not so sure about the back. The exhaust reminds me of a cut down piper 4into1 my mate had on a z650 about a million years ago.
I'm not keen on the size of the bike either, its tidy. Its ok if you're a shortarse, but i'm 6ft with long legs and I feel a twat on a small bike. Why are the manufacturers so hell bent on making everything so small? I want a large bike that looks big and powerfull. Not a fookin minimoto!!

I don't like the plate hanger either, but it clips off as does the pillion foot pegs, and apparently this Yamaha comes with a pillion seat cowl like Suzuki's GSX-R range.

Tell the government about it...

The rear wheel cannot be the last thing at the back of the bike, you could do somehting about it if you put on a mudguard for example..

No doubt there will be hundreds of aftermarket mods for it and i'd think the plate backet would be delt with Wink

Looks good imo, the exhaust too looks great, stumpy Cool But radial brakes and a slipper clutch are pretty pointless unless its going to be taken on a track (which lets face it most wont)
Still if ou can afford one than chances are you can afford to have it serivced Wink

I haven't seen one in the flesh but I like how it looks in the pictures. I wouldn't buy one in yellow though, it would have to be in black or blue.

had a look at some different colour ones yesterday. very nice bit of kit.

i was told they only did the number plate bracket like that because out of the factory a certain amount of the back tyre must be covered.

black looks nice.

but i wont be swapping my R6 anytime soon
