Can my bike do....

Can my bike to 115mph i have an RS125, i have read in a few places that if i have my bike racing tuned or as close to "racing" tuned i can get, that it will reach 115mph maybee more ... someone bring me up to speed plz (ignore unintended pun).....

Not without it shitting pistons.

You're looking at around 95 mph stock, not worth tuning.

Find a big enough cliff it'll go even faster.

And if it ever reads 115mph whist stock, it isnt going that fast.

simple mods like free flow filter and race exhaust might not give much extra speed but they do make it feel a bit nicer to ride.

Is it even geared for 115mph?

Even if it could do 115mph, it would take so long to get it there, it wd be more of a chore than fun.

I suspect 100-105 indicated on speedo is more likely. True speed I wdnt know.

Be proud of the bikes handling on bends not its top speed.

Rather than top speed, Id suggest down gearing it for better low speed acceleration which is useful in town.

A cheap mod to do, if you wanna mod your bike.

Also dropping the yoke 1cm down the fork tubes improves handling and is how the bike was set up on the early models like kickstarts.

A mate with a 2005 rs125 has done both of these and likes the results.
